Certified Teacher Requirements
All certified teachers are required by KRS 158.070 to earn a minimum of 24 hours of professional development credit each year to maintain their certification. Refer to Quick Help Guide for Certified Requirements.
Instructional Classified Employee Requirements
All Instructional Classified staff are required to earn 24 hours of PD credit annually. Refer to Quick Help Guide for Classified Requirements.
EILA Administrator Requirements
Instructional leaders as defined by KRS 156.01 must annually complete 21 hours of EILA credit. Administrators with job descriptions that do not require an instructional administrative certificate must earn 42 EILA hours within 5 years to maintain certification with EPSB.
*Non-admins who wish to uphold EPSB certification requirements must obtain EILA outside of the work day.

Effective June 1, 2022 all PD credit will be entered and earned through Vector Solutions PD Tracker. Refer to the JCPS Communications emails for details on how to get started.
Summer Classified PD – June 1
& 2
Instructional Classified staff
working with students to impact academics and learning will be offered a series
of pre-recorded professional development sessions on these two dates
(Wednesday, June 1st, and Thursday, June 2nd).
· Participants
may earn up to 12 hours of PD.
· To
receive PD credit, participants will need to complete a reflection (Google
form) for each PD session on how the instruction shifted their practice to
improve student learning outcomes.

Vector PD Tracker Launch
Directions

May 1st, the new PD Tracker system (formerly pdCentral) will be
live.
· All
summer PD for 22-23 begins June 1st. Participants may begin
enrolling for summer PD on May 1st through the Vector PD
Tracker platform.
